Ubud Writers & Readers Festival 2017

The Ubud Writers & Readers Festival was first held in 2002 with a very simple concept, but has now grown into one of the world's most famous science and art events held in Bali - an annual pilgrimage for literary and conversational lovers.

By bringing together some of the world's most powerful voices in artists, writers, thinkers and artists, Ubud Writers & Readers Festival is a platform for meaningful exchange and cross-cultural dialogue. A place where artists and audiences can discuss shared inspirations, ideas and concerns, the Festival goes beyond cultural and geographic boundaries to create a truly global community.

The Ubud Writers & Readers Festival or UWRF held five days includes fun and exciting conversations, intimate literary lunches, live gripping performances, live workshops, art exhibitions, workshops, markets and more. An incredibly diverse mix of ideas and stories, UWRF is the place to discover new talents and be familiar and familiar with some of the world's leading voices.

Ubud Writers & Readers Festival 2017 akan diselenggarakan dari tanggal 25-29 Oktober 2017 di beberapa tempat di sekitar Ubud , dan program-program utama yang dipusatkan di Taman Baca , Jln. Raya Sanggingan Ubud , Bali. Event UWRF ini akan diisi dengan ratusan program menarik dan selama 5 hari berlangsungnya acara , diantaranya peluncuran buku, pertunjukkan musik, pameran seni, Special Event, dan masih banyak lagi. . Selain diisi dengan berbagai program menarik , UWRF akan kedatangan tokoh sastra ternama seperti Ian Rankim, Seno Gumira Ajidarma, Teater Boneka Papaermoon serta Eko Supriyanto. Ada juga para penulis tersohor yaitu penulis WildSwans Jung Chang, penulis buku The Dry Jane Harper, penyair terkemuka dan penulis naskah Simon Armitage, serta pengembara makanan seumur hidup Joanna Savill. Ubud Monkey Forest

Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana also called Ubud Monkey Forest is a place of sanctuary and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. In this place has approximately 340 long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) (32 male adults, 19 young males, 77 adult females, 122 juvenile and 54 infants). 

There are four groups of monkeys who occupy different regions in this park. In this place there is also a popular tourist attraction in Ubud, and is often visited by over 10,000 tourists per month. This forest has an area of ​​approximately one-tenth of a square kilometer (approximately 27 acres) and contains at least 115 different tree species. 

The Monkey Forest was also contained a shaped temple called Pura Dalem Agung Temple Padangtegal and also as a "source of Innocence" other temples and used for cremation ceremonies. The place is located in the village Padangtegal and governed by a village council members serve on the Monkey Forest directly. Wenara Wana Foundation Padangtegal managing this place serves to maintain the integrity of chastity and to promote the sacred site as a destination for visitors.

Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Bali

Tegalalang rice terraces paddies (terracing) a little more difficult to find in Bali, with the most impressive being in Jatiluwih, Tegalalang and Sidemen. A complex irrigation system, known by locals as "Subak" which has been recognized by UNESCO and added to the World Heritage list in 2012.
