Taman Ayun Temple tourist attraction is a temple of Mother (Paibon) for the family of Mengwi Kingdom, Bali. This temple is beautifully designed with beautiful gardens, surrounded by fish ponds so that when in this place as if in the middle of the lake.
Taman Ayun Temple was built in the 17th century (supposedly built in 1634) by the first king of the Kingdom of Mengwi Tjokerda Sakti Blambangan with architects from China. Initially this temple was founded because it pretended the place of worship of the people when it is available too far distance, to reach by Mengwi community.

This temple was destroyed by a great earthquake, when it happened in 1917. Bentar temple is also a tall monument reaching 16 meters in the inner courtyard of the temple was built according to Javanese architecture, while the small temple monument in the form of seats of 64 stones is a monument relics of megalithic ancestral age to commemorate the knights who died in the battlefield.
